Goal Update

I haven't watched any movies yet but i have taken some more notes and will continue my research. My parents have limited me to no more than two movies per week which should be about right because even the Hollywood movie critics only write reviews for one movie a week.

A Discovery

Okay so my project has turned out to be more complicated than I thought! Over the weekend, i was watching this movie and i tried to write a review for it. I found out that i know absolutely nothing about writing reviews for movies! So this has actually turned into a kind of research project. I went to the Bucknell Library and checked out a ton of books on film studies and now im reading them and taking notes on them. I also decided that when i write reviews it would be a good thing to do some research on the movie and find out stuff about its production, the actors in it, and the director. So im not going to be watching as many movies as i thought!

Decided

I have decided to watch movies for my goal and write reviews for them. I will post these reviews on my blog so that everyone can look at them. I don't know if anyone will want to watch the movies that i watch because i love old movies but maybe someone will. So that is my goal for this year. I will probably do this for the first semester but if i am enjoying it then i will do it for the whole year.

Undecided

i don't know what i'm going to do for my project yet but i'm kind of hooked on doing something movie related. I don't want to make a movie, this would be more in the watching movies field. i will try to come up with something for next time.
