Goal Update

Great News!!!! First of all, I won't be doing my music goal thing anymore. Secondly, my sister got her fastplants in the mail, so she'll probably be starting on it in January, or over Christmas break. She will actuall be letting me do some of the work too, I think, but I'll mostly just be looking on. So, anyway, it should be really interesting!!!

Good News!!!!!!! I actually didn't blow my project off .........I mean I wasn't busy :) last weekend/week, so I got a marimba lesson from my sister. She gave me all of this neat background on marimbas too, such as the fact that the resonators of the marimba used to made from dried up pig guts ( I'm sure that's just what you've wanted to know all your life isn't it) !!!!!! But anyway, it was really fun. i also got sort of a mini lesson on vibraphone too, because my sister wrote this piece in which there is a vibraphone and marimba. It was really fun because you got to reach over and play the other person's instrument.

I have completely forgotten to work on my music project last week/weekend!!!! I actually was pretty busy though, so it's not like I totally blew it off or anything........... hee hee .............. heh heh............. :)

Goal Update

Well, my sister has not started her biology project yet, and I'm not entirely sure what else I can do in the meantime to increase my knowledge in subjects I don't know much about, sooooo.........
I think I'll do a music-related project and see if I can learn anything new. I think that I could do this easily. my family plays a variety of instruments, so I could ask them to give me a lesson or two on each instrument (guitar, marimba, drumset, snare drum) so I could learn more about them. I am also learning to play jazz on my bass (improvise bass lines, solos, etc.) so i can learn more in that area too. This should keep me busy until my sister does her biology project.

New Goal!!!

My new goal for this year will be to expand my knowledge in subjects that I do not know much about. For example, my sister is doing a biology project on cross-breeding plants. She will get two different types of FastPlants ( or maybe they are called SmartPlants;they grow faster than normal) and cross pollinate them and see what happens. (ex: if you have a red rose and a white rose and you cross pollinate them will you get a pink rose?) I was thinking that I could sort of study that along with her and post what happens.

I have completed on e slipper and am starting on another. My story is going well too.

All of my goals are doing really well and I will be working on my story the whole period yet again because i have been unable to receive help on my knitting which I have just recently messed up. AGAIN.

I am doing well on my new goal and still working on my story. I will be working on my story all class period today because I messed up my knitting and I don't know how to fix it until knitting club, so I can't do it today.

Robot

I am still trying to figure out how to put that video of my robot on the computer. I have decided not to write a mini report on how the programming worked because it's been such a long time since I programmed it that I forget how it worked.

NEW MAIN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have decided to change my main goal to........ KNITTING A PAIR OF SLIPPERS!!!!!! However, I will still be working on my story too. Since I come for a full hour now, I can work on my knitting half of the time and my story the other half. I canalso work on my story whenever I have homeroom. YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still trying to remember to bring my goal in to work on but otherwise I'm doing pretty good.

I finished my robot!!!!!!!!!! I will put a video of it on my blog as soon as I figure out how and will write a mini report on how the programming works.
